Ipsy Glam Bag Details for February

I am a sucker for subscription boxes and Ipsy is no different!  I feel like I am getting free makeup surprises each month, even though I do pay $10’s per month! Some would say – aren’t you a bit too “old” for an Ipsy Glambag?!  To that I would say, “Just because I am over 40, why would I be too old to try new things, especially makeup, skincare and hair care products?!” DUH!

This month’s bag features products from the following brands:

Seraphine Botanicals included a water based Skin Illuminator called Luminude which is made from cold-pressed Evening Primrose oil. Before getting this GlamBag, I honestly had never heard of this brand which is a little surprising ’cause I’m in the biz!! But I was very pleasantly surprised when I went to their website and learned that have a full range of products – makeup, skincare and haircare, are vegan and cruelty-free and I am a sucker for gorgeous packaging and they have it!  Also on a side note, their packaging is printed with soy ink which to me means that take extra care in doing their part to protect the environment and sustainability.  LOVE!

NYX Cosmetics new Butter Lipstick in Ripe Berry color.  I am a big fan of NYX Cosmetics and have been for years. This lipstick butter goes on creamy but last a decent amount of time.

I was not familiar with Hikari Cosmetics before receiving an eyeshadow in Latte.  I still have yet to test it but it is a good color for my blue eyes as it is a brownish / copper color.

I don’t know what it is about this brand but I just love it!  Briogeo Haircare is a brand that is fun, hip and oh so cool!  I love their packaging, their social media presence and now their Blow Dry Perfection and Heat Protectant Creme. It’s good for ALL hair types and protects against heat damage up to 425’F – WOW!

Last but not least, LAW Beauty Essentials was included in my bag.  This brand is 100% vegan-friendly and toxin-free – a win in my book!  I am taking this puppy with me to test when I get my next manicure.  It’s a gray’ish color called Leave A Text so still good for the cooler winter days we are experiencing here in San Francisco!

**Disclaimer**  The above products or services is something I paid for myself.  It is not a PR sample and I am in no way getting paid for my opinion or the review.
